This technique involves injecting the uterine cavity with normal saline, followed by imaging the cavity with transvaginal ultrasound. The information includes the thickness of the endometrium, the presence or absence of polyps, and identifies any foreign objects that might contribute to abnormal uterine bleeding. The video demonstrates this clinically useful technique.
